The good cleaning performance in relation to blood and other protein-containing contaminants is due to the high alkalinity of THERMO SHIELD BASIX. Because of its good material compatibility* and corrosion inhibitors both instruments and the machine are protected. This also provides compatibility with laboratory equipment. The recommended working concentrations correspond to a pH of more than 10. *Tested for common metals, elastomers and thermoplastics in medical devices.
